Singapore is the most diverse city I have ever been to. It feels like you are in so many countries in one city! I have been to Singapore a few times, I know many of the streets; I no longer go for an overpriced Singapore Sling at the Raffles hotel. But each time I am lucky enough to be able to go to Singapore, usually when I’m on the way to someplace else, I discover a new part of the city which is so individual that you would think that you had moved continents within half an hour. Last time I flew in over the harbor I felt completely free and at peace just by looking at all the boats side by side in the calm water crimson from the sunset.
